Sao Paulo, Brazil

"My friend, my friend, health is first!" said my colleague Patara as he escorted me back to my hotel to take some rest. I can't believe I caught tonsillitis on my first in Brazil. The stuff I had to drink to heal myself I will not mention here but next time I will prefer to rather die. Sao Paulo - millions of people, poverty and riches, business and pleasure. In the second week Patara, Adilson and I flew to Brasilia, the capital, where 75% of the population were women ages 20-40. Brasilia reminded me of the States. Wide big roads, traffic. I will never forget the Brazilian food and hospitality of the people.

Fort Worth, Texas

The wild west

"Howdy, " I said with Borat's accent. "We meet again" and gave my friend a hug. This time I'm not traveling alone. Stockyards and the Sundance Square were exquisite places I've yet seen in Texas. The environment and the mood set to a high fever summer in the relaxing shades of the evening and the live music playing on the corners of the streets turn your evening into a magical experience with a turn into the past. World's Greatest Honky Tonk - Billy Bob's is a great place to visit for the country music fans or just adventure seekers. I regret only one thing - forgetting my digital camera in Houston. Fortunately, I did have the blackberry as a plan B. Fort Worth, I will sure come to visit you again.

Washington, DC

Shalom Capitol of U.S.A.

"I just want a small car", "but Sir, I already told you, there had been a mistake and the car you reserved is not available so we are giving you Chrysler 300 as a compensation for the same price" said the man behind the desk with an Indian accent. "Fine, I'll take it" was my final answer as I was tired of arguing. Beautiful and powerful monuments have captured the center of the city and my attention. If only I knew that my good brother in Christ, Gabe Gienger, was spending the week with his family few miles away from me, unfortunately that information streamed to my knowledge a few weeks late. Nonetheless, great city! A lot of night life and a lot of cops circulating round and round the Capitol & The White House. Strangely enough, in the past 3 months of my time being in the States, never was I stopped by a cop except the airport security in my London business trip.

Stone Mountain, GA

Where there's a will there's a way

Shirtless, sweaty, dehydrating white boy hiking up the mountain. Thats what you would have thought if you saw me. Beautiful view and an amazing scenery. A mountain made out of pure stone - nature's miracle. Once we reached the top after getting some nice tan and pictures, the group decided to split up. One team will take the cable car down the mountain and the other will heroically hike down the mountain. Was it the sun or the nature of our wild imagination, we will never know, but the grisly bears, booby traps, drunk bums and poisonous snakes did not stop us, we had to earn the ice cold coke that was waiting for us once we reach the bottom.
The country music concert follow by the 25 years anniversary Stone Mountain Laser Show was a fantastic ending to the trip.

Los Angeles, CA

Behind the scenes of Hollywood

Empty streets, homeless lunatics and old cracked roads were not the things I expected Hollywood to offer me. As holocaustal as it sounds, the real joy of LA hides within the company of it's inhabitants. 2 nights spent in BIOLA University with a company of great people and one close brother in Christ was an experience money cannot buy. Staying up all night laughing and talking in the dorm's club room, "Study night" they call it, was a great way for me to get to know people. I got to admit the beach is beautiful. After all it's the exact spot where the annual U.S. Volleyball championships are taking place. "California, here I come" by Phantom Planet lost it's meaning for me after I've seen the place. Perhaps it takes a bit more time to fall in love but I'm all about love from first sight and that was not the case.

San Francisco, California

The land of joy

"Very joyful city", everyone said prior to my departure, "be careful". As I arrived to the city, it was dusk and the streets were crowded with people joying around. "How wonderful" I said to myself, buttoned my shirt and put my hands in the pockets. "Welcome to San Francisco," said the Valet when opened the door, "a very nice car Sir" he added in a hope to get a higher tip. "Thank you, not mine though. Company's expense" I replied and carried my feet along with my suitcase to the Lobby's Check-In desk. 42" LCD, 27th floor, Swimming pool, Gym, Restaurant in style - InterContinental Hotel, one of the best accommodation I've stayed at so far. Nevertheless, beautiful city with hundreds of attractions. A great place to visit with your beloved one. Even though I had to spend 4 days alone here, the magic of the beautiful sights affected me not a penny less.

London, England

Fields of green

"Sir, are you planning on driving me today?" said the cab driver before I realized that the passenger front seat is on the left side of the car. "Can't wait to get done with my first day of work and storm into the streets of London for an adventure!" I exclaimed. As the evening came, the clock didn't finish ringing 6 times yet when my colleague shouted "Tea time!". And so I listened and did. Boiled the water, got the cookies opened, some little excitement in the movement of hands and the boiling water goes right on my leg. Good grief, the things I've shouted in the next 30 minutes, the people I've mentioned... "GOOD MOTHER THERESA!!! HOLY SAINT PATRICS SHOES!!!..", yeah I covered them all I think. And so my adventure began, or may I say - Ended. I didn't go to see the city for I couldn't walk for the entire time being. But hey at least I got to experience the British hospitality and an Scottish wedding.

Toronto, Canada

Uncle Titto & Hermano Juan

Sometimes, when life gets tough, you dress up as a Mexican and go sell hotdogs in Toronto.
This was the best day I've had so far. I got to meet my bro Slava (AKA Hermano Juan) and spend a day with him going through wild attractions: Hero Burger (the best burger i've tasted yet), CN Tower, Thai restaurant! Of course it's not the places but its what you do in those places... check the video for more details ;)

Boston, Massachusetts

My first mission in U.S.A

I'm ready to teach the latest best business technology optimization solution product in the market to a class of corporate students! But forget about that. I'm in Boston, what can be more awesome than the fancy Top Of The Hub restaurant on 52nd floor of the tallest sky scrapper in Massachusetts. Boston is a wonderful place, I definitely want to go back!

Atlanta, Georgia

My first stop.

Trying to find my boss in an airport of 180 gates was quite a challenge for someone who's been stuck in one country for the last 15 years. However, 50 cents and a phone call saved lots of time. My boss took me into his Mercedes and started talking business...
While driving through Atlanta my first impression was established- This city is just one huge highway! I figured it will take quite some time to adjust to the 8 lanes roads. Little did I know, one month later I was driving down 16 lane roads in Texas.
After completing all of the paper work my boss handed the keys to my corporate apartment and thats how it all started...

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Every journey has a start

Band of Brothers in Christ 2008. I was more than blessed to be part of this once in a life time event. Eight brothers came together in one place for 10 days to have fellowship. Three day Sailing, Jet-Ski, Sail Fishing, Baseball play-offs game, Ultimate Frisbee in the dark, Dinning in finest restaurants in town, Challenging morning lectures and bible studies, Close brothers in faith for life. All that and much more was a kick off start for my journey in my world of business traveling.
